Tungsten Heavy Alloys (WHAs) are tungsten alloys that typically contain 90 to 98 wt% W. Most commercial tungsten alloys are two-phase structures, the principal phase being nearly pure tungsten in association with a binder phase containing the transition metals plus dissolved tungsten. As a consequence, WHAs derives their fundamental properties from those of the principal tungsten phase, which provides for both high density and high elastic stiffness. It is these two properties that give rise to must applications for this family of materials.

Tungsten copper (Cu-W) Alloy is the composite of tungsten and copper which own he excellent performance of tungsten and copper. It is used widely in such industries as engine, electric power, electron, metallurgy, spaceflight and aviation.

Customized Tungsten Copper Alloy Tubes / Pipes Surface Machined For Spark Erosion

 

Tungsten copper tubes are widely used in machinery, electronics, and aviation, aerospace, military and other fields.

 

Copper Tungsten Alloy uses the excellent metal characteristics of the high pure tungsten powder and the plasticity and high conductivity of the high pure copper powder to produce composite materials with static pressure molding, high temperature sintering and the the solution process of the copper infiltration technology.

 

These materials have some advantages: the arc ablation resistance, good thermal conductivity, and small thermal expansion, not soften in high temperature, softening, high strength, high density, high hardness etc.

Electrodes for Resistance Welding

 

Arcing contacts and vaccum contacts in high and medium voltage breakers or vaccum interruptors

Electrodes in electric spark erosion cutting machines

Heat sinks as passive cooling elements of electronic devices
 
For the spark erosion of dies or cemented carbide making for high speed steel and switches and contacts in high and low voltage electrical devices.

Special shape products are produced as per customer's drawing.
